Silent Tears of the Children
註釋It's impossible to erase the memories of horrors encountered as a prisoner in Japanese slave camps during World War II, or the silent tears the author cried for herself, her family, and all the other innocents who suffered during that war. But times is running out. Ms. Gardiner shares her story with the world. This book was difficult to write. Remembering meant reliving. This book tells a story not often heard, of innocent people who suffered and died. But it must be told because too many children have cried silent tears. Too many people have been mistreated simply because of who they are. Hopefully, by telling this story, we can stop those silent tears in the future.
