註釋Jean Baptiste Boisseaux, a Huguenot, immigrated from France to the United States to fight in the French Army under General Lafayette in the American Revolutionary War. He settled afterwards in Pennsylvania, married Barbara Frick, and later moved to land in Wood County, Virginia (now West Virginia), where he died after 1834. Descendants lived in West Virginia and elsewhere.
