Joodse kinderen in het kamp Vught
註釋During 1943-44, ca. 12,000 inmates (most of them Jews) passed through Camp Vught. They came from all over the Netherlands, first from the big cities and later from the provinces. Some families arrived from Westerbork, stayed for a while in Vught, and were then sent back to Westerbork and from there to the East. There were 1,296 children (from babies up to the age of 16) who were interned in Vught for different periods of time. Describes the lives and experiences of the children in this camp. Upon arrival, the children were separated from their families and placed in children's huts. Only 27 of the 1,296 children survived the war. The names and ages of the victims are listed in the margins of the pages in the book.
