註釋This report presents an overview of continuous approximation models that have been developed for physical distribution problems over the past thirty years. It proposes a taxonomy for differentiating the problems and classifies them into nine types of distribution problems. Then a brief review of each paper is provided. This paper is aimed at providing information quickly and concisely on how a specific problem has been analyzed with a continuous approximation approach.
