Revisiting Issues in English Teaching and Literature
註釋This book is written in the following order. The first chapter introduces the Gricean maxims and how it fits into teaching writing in EFL classrooms, particularly in Indonesia. By adopting its four maxims into language teaching practices, such as writing, language teachers provide learners with suitable framework as to how learners can present comprehensive, succinct, and systematic writing. Thus, classroom activities which  nurture learners’ critical thinking, such as communicative tasks, free writing and providing feedback need to be developed.
