Heralds and Angels
註釋Traces the history of the Fairfax organisation from its beginnings in 1841, through the expansion of the TSydney Morning Herald' and other newspapers to the recent turbulence resulting from Warwick Fairfax's attempt to privatise the company. The book won the A A Phillips Prize for Australian Studies in the 1991 Victorian Premier's Awards. The author, a former journalist on the TSydney Morning Herald' and company historian of the John Fairfax Group, has also written an earlier history of the group, TCompany of Heralds'.
