註釋Ephraim Welch (b.1807), a son of Ephraim, moved from North Carolina to Bledsoe County, Tennessee, and was probably the father of Robert Welch (1829-1902) and Isaac Denton Welch (1830-1884). Robert married Mary Jane Smith and moved to Clinton County, Kentucky. Isaac married Sarah Am Pierce, and moved (via Kentucky, Illinois and Oklahoma) to land near Wynnewood, Texas about 1883. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, California and elsewhere.
