Moguer en sus protocolos notariales (1568-1688)
註釋The Moguer Notarial Protocol Fund, kept in the Moguer Municipal Historical Archive and Ibero-American Library, located on one of the sides of the old San Francisco Convent, restored thanks to the Colon 92 agreement and inaugurated on October 12, 1994, maintains its historical continuity since the 16th century. Its main deeds provide valuable information on its life cycle from when they were produced by notaries public in their trades, until their definitive deposit in the current entity. A certified documentary collection of the past moment, of the society of the past, with its customs and daily chores. Described in some notarial contracts, which despite having been described as cold due to their subject matter and rigid in their formulation, are fully fledged, a true jewel of Documentary Heritage. The present study deals primarily with these documents: their history and that of their public notaries. And through its condition of being the archive of daily life, a panoramic vision of the town is reconstructed, and later, the city of Moguer in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Finishing the work with a diplomatic collection -previously commented- chosen for its documentary and thematic variety, centered on the house of Portocarrero, lords of Moguer. - translation of back cover.
