註釋Econometric models have been estimated for a nine-industry disaggregation of the Syrian manufacturing sector. These models have been used to forecast gross outputs and value-added for each industry, based on forecasts of macro-economic variables generated by a macro-econometric model of the Syrian economy. The forecasts suggest that, if it continues to develop according to the historical pattern, the Syrian manufacturing sector will not experience any significant structural change over the remainder of this century.
