註釋This film shows the Djungguwan ceremony organized by Dundiwuy Wanambi in 1976 at his Marrakulu clan homeland centre at Gurka'wuy, on Trial Bay, Arnhem Land, Australia. The ceremony was a ritual opening of Gurka'wuy, a reaffirmation of the Law of the Two Wawilak Sisters, an initiation into that Law for the living, and a memorial or final farewell to the dead and is a detailed study of the event from Dundiwuy's point of view. Composed in five parts as a "film monograph", the director encourages the use of it, as a written monograph, "read" sequence by sequence, and then selectively re-read and studied.
