Recent Advances in Aquaculture Health Management
註釋Since much of disease problems encountered in aquaculture systems today are a result of inadequate health management, scientists have been trying to improve ideologies, methodologies and techniques of health management to support an economically viable aquaculture industry. Diagnostic laboratories have become increasingly important to the productivity and profitability of hatcheries, fish farms and aquaculture stations. Development of new methodologies for the diagnosis of infectious diseases are related to the progress in biotechnology and molecular biology. Different kinds of immunoreagents and nucleic-acid probes have been developed, mainly for application in marine invertebrate aquaculture.
