Geology of the Clearwater Bay Area, District of Kenora

註釋The Clearwater Bay Area is in the northwestern part of Lake of the Woods about 20 km southwest of Kenora and covers approximately 220 sq km. Field mapping was conducted during the summer of 1986, with outcrop data recorded on aerial photographs. Mapping was concentrated on shoreline exposures with inland pace and compass traverse lines oriented to examine the maximum amount of outcrop perpendicular to the regional strike. This report gives the general geology of the area, aeromagnetic data, petrochemistry, metamorphism, structural geology, and economic geology, with a description of various properties.
