Front page includes handwritten name: "F. Belle Devilbiss #327 E. Preston St. Balt." Handwritten journal containing information in several subject areas including arithmetic, history, geography, and singing. About eighty pages of notes dated from September to December 1882. A few pages (pages 85 and 87) contain handwritten financial information dated 1954. Majority of pages are blank. Bookseller's information states that F. Belle Devilbiss was a Baltimore teacher and that the notes are course outline and lesson plans.
