Having subsequently realised this fact, Annie's kids and their close friends, democratically arrive at a decision to embark upon: Operation Annie - a daring mission of mercy, aimed at finding a remedy for Annie's dire situation. Planning, surveillance, camaraderie teenage guile and nerves of steel, prove to be essential ingredients for this socially-conscious team, as they take on the might of the local media.Incidentally, accidentally - and, maybe even, analogically, the story unfolds throughout the Christmas period - and concludes rather neatly on New Year's Day!
