The Mood for Murder
註釋When Suzie Bolton called, inviting Allan Stewart down to her palatial winter place in Pirate's Cove, Florida, he couldn't understand her reaction to his refusal. Suzie's invitation changed to a demand and then to an urgent plea. What Allan heard a few days later sent him hurrying to Florida. Suzie had tried to kill herself. When Allan arrived, he found a wan, hysterical girl, obsessed with the idea that she had witnessed a murder and had herself been shot at. No one believed her, until a short time later when a death occurred--someone very close to Suzie.
