註釋Reflected Passion features a sophisticated, scrutinizing Grommine by the name of Cilius Raven, a worker at a human orphanage headed by a fellow Grommine, Mr. Gosheop. Grommines are the superior race of improved mankind, compelled by greed and prejudice to overrule the authority of Man. Mr. Gosheop, a human sympathizer, established the orphanage in hopes of blotting out the forced segregation between his race and theirs. It is here that a young human girl, Sara Lee, finds both sanctuary in the Grommine edifice and mysterious, unacceptable love in the murderous heart of Mr. Raven. Mr. Raven, once a confident, determined, even happy employee of Mr. Gosheop's orphanage, embarks on a mutinous rampage when his detached wife, Silvia, confesses an adulterous love and leaves with their four children. Before his abandonment, Mr. Raven confiscates a prized heirloom of Silvia's as a bitter memoir of their shattered passion. But this piece of memory is no mere trinket. Passed on from an ancient forefather, cursed through the sorcery of his justice-seeking wife, this grudge endows Mr. Raven with an insatiable lust for vengeance. Spurred by his sadistic lechery, the Grommine wreaks bloody havoc on the orphanage, while maintaining a logic-less trust in his newfound friend, Sara Lee. As insanity peaks, the barriers between authority and orphan, Grommine and human, are lasciviously breached. Meanwhile, the sultry Ms. Ciolstone is attempting to lure Mr. Raven into her own self-serving embrace, taking full of advantage the past he cannot face.
