An Introduction to Clinical Pharmaceutics
註釋Although a knowledge of pharmaceutics (physical chemistry applied to pharmaceuticals) is essential in the design and manufacture of modern pharmaceutical dosage forms, a knowledge of the interaction of dosage forms with the body (clinical pharmaceutics) is essential for the practicing pharmacist. This textbook will thus describe a variety of dosage forms and their clinical importance and use. The use and behavior of dosage forms in different age groups and patient groups will also be considered along with recent developments such as personalized therapies and genomics. All of the principles underpinning clinical pharmaceutics will be described using relevant examples from the recent literature and clinical case studies.
