Government and Pressure Groups in Britain
註釋How much do pressure groups influence politics in Britain? Who gets consulted and why? What are the dynamics of group-department interaction? This work looks at both the historical relationship between government and pressure groups and at the operation of pressure politics in Britain today. The authors offer a theoretical examination of the pluralist and corporatist traditions and then assess the "high politics" consultation seen in tripartism and the "ordered" or "structured" consultation of the advisory committee system.
