Sketchbook of drawings by Denis Tegetmeier on various subjects, including religious themes, landscapes and illustration work. The drawings were appear to have been taken out of a larger sketchbook and were placed into a two-ring binder. There are only a few drawings in the sketchbook which appear close to finished; most work is relatively hasty. Tegetmeier was the son-in-law and art pupil of Eric Gill and his influence is quite apparent, particularly in the religious subjects pictured here. A presentation letter from Arthur Bruce Allen to a friend named Harvey (or Hervey), dated 12 May 1967, is also included.
