Report of the Committee to Review the Australian Overseas Aid Program
註釋This report outlines ways in which Australian aid programs can be developed. The first three chapters of the report analyse the environment within which the Australian aid program operates, outlining why aid is given, the nature of development, the problems which aid seeks to alleviates, and current aid trends. Chapters 4 to 8 discuss the forms of aid which Australia is particularly well placed to offer. Chapters 9 to 13 focus on geographic issues, including an analysis of the aid needs of countries of particular interest to Australia and suggesting how the Australian aid program should be planned to meet these needs. Chapters 14 to 16 examine the management requirements and form of organisation appropriate for the administration of the Australian aid program. [Introduction, ed].
