This study undertook to identify, observe, and measure processes, forms, and rates for an understanding of the fluvial geomorphology of the Arctic Coastal Plain Province. The work was of a reconnaissance nature designed to build a foundation for more detailed studies of the Inaru River basin and for extrapolation to the other basins of northern Alaska.
