Change in Nutrition and Food Security in Two Inuit Communities, 1992 to 1997
註釋This report describes & presents results of a survey to evaluate the impact of the Food Mail Program on food consumption, nutrition, food security, and health of Inuit women aged 15-44 (a nutritionally high-risk group) in Repulse Bay and Pond Inlet. The survey included a food frequency questionnaire, questions regarding food security & changes in food affordability compared to five years ago, and a questionnaire on health, lifestyle, and socio-economic conditions. The results are discussed along with lessons learned & ways to improve the effectiveness of the Food Mail Program.
