Alias The Tank, is a romantic comedy about the interaction of a handsome, wealthy, wheelchair-bound, New York businessman named Toby Broughton suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and his intense Psychotherapist, Dr. Denise Lambert. The action partly takes place in a now abandoned State Institution For The Retarded where Toby had been erroneously incarcerated in his teens following misdiagnosis of injuries suffered in a motor-vehicle accident.
As Dr. Lambert conducts therapy Toby relives his intense incarceration in the Institution. In the off-hours, Dr. Lambert is blackmailed into attending night clubs, theaters and dance floors with Toby, his "Man Friday", Juan Songsong, a native of Rota in the Marianas and Gloria Madison, Toby´s latest love who is an up and coming actress.
Inside the old Institution, Toby relives his placement in a Vocational Training Program, his attempts to escape to his Grandfather in New York, his release to a group home in the community and his escape from the group home with one of it´s younger residents, a boy named William Garcia.
"Alias The Tank" is the nickname of the "Access Mobility System" wheelchair which allows Toby to access stairs and handicapped-unfriendly places.
