註釋Diana Thorneycroft's technically beautiful photographs explore the limits of gender and sexuality, interrogating the body as the centre for our experience of the human condition. Now using surrogates in addition to her own body, her images examine the relationship between technology and self, creating dark, theatrical works of beauty charged with psychic and physical anxiety.

Diana Thorneycroft's work has been shown at the Burden Gallery in New York; at Fotofeiss, the international festival of photography in Edinburgh; the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University; and the Rosizo State Museum in Moscow.
