註釋This is a preprinted "Album" published by J.C. Riker of New York. Most pages are blank but there are a few scattered illustrations throughout. Entries were gathered by Elizabeth Frances Jewett (b. August 25, 1829, Hollis, N.H. - d. May 19, 1912, Newport, N.H.) There are 30 entries dated from 1846 through 1850 containing poems, quotations and expressions of friendship and good will. Elizabeth Frances Jewett married Levi Winter Barton (a NH state senator) and was the mother of several children, notably Jesse Morton Barton, (NH legislator, probate judge and delegate to state constitutional conventions) and Herbert Jewett Barton, (chair of the University of Illinois classics department from 1909-1926).
