註釋This report reviews literature & survey data about young peoples' experiences with work in Canada, focussing on the 15 to 19 year age group. In section one, the pattern of youth entry into the labour force is reviewed along with differences in employment patterns among teens. Section two presents information about the types of work engaged in by youth and their average earnings. Section three reviews information about the extent of employment among teen students and its effects on their school achievement. Section four presents information about the impact of working on young peoples' health and well-being and includes discussion about the positive & negative effects of working.
