Habitat Suitability Index for the Northern Leopard Frog in Alberta
註釋Alberta's northern leopard frog recovery plan identifies habitat modelling as an action item. A habitat model could aid in predicting locatoin of sites that support previously unknown populations and as a tool in the assessment of reintroductions sites. Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) models were developed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Survice to access environmental impacts and have been used by Alberta Fish and Wildlife to prioritize the landscape within the Multiple Species at Risk (MULTISAR) project area in southern Alberta. This report describes the methods used to develop the HSI model for Alberta's northern leopard frog and presents the results of testing the HSI.--Includes text from document.
