It is known that he arrived in Virginia sometime before or during 1667. "Whom Edward married and the date and place of the ceremony are unknown, as is also the date of his wife's death."--Page 30. Records indicate their first son, Edward, was born about 1670 in Stafford County, Virginia. "It is probable that he died about 1700. ... Edward and his wife presumably were buried on their home plantation, that being the general custom of the time."--P.--31.
