German National Election Panel Study, 1972
註釋The intent of this panel study was to provide data for the analysis of electoral behavior in the Federal Republic of Germany, focusing on the federal elections of November 1972. The survey was administered in four waves, three before and one immediately following the election. In addition to personal background information, the study ascertained the respondents' perceptions of the political parties and the candidates, their views on the economy and on economic and price policy, as well as their opinions on foreign policy, including Ostpolitik (Federal Republic of Germany chancellor Willy Brandt's strategy of peacefully moving toward the reunification of the two Germanys through increased contact and exchange of information). Demographic variables include age, marital status, education, and occupation.
