The Competitiveness of Agrifoods in Central American and Caribbean Countries in the Context of Trade Liberalization
註釋This study is an overview on agrifood competitiveness in Central American and Caribbean countries carried out by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbeans (ECLACs) Agricultural Development Unit. The main purpose of the study was to identify possible trade opportunities and challenges facing the agrifood sector in the subregional countries, taking into consideration trade liberalization developments in the main import markets of the United States and the European Union (EU). The countries considered in this study include: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago.
