The Development of the Starr Model for Training Preservice Teachers to Integrate Traditional and Nontraditional Teaching Strategies
註釋As a supplemental curriculum model, this project provides concepts which support theoretical content. This content suggests methodologies from which teachers may derive approaches to student-centered activities. the nine instructional components of this model include exercises that stimulate inductive thinking, reasoning and intellectual development. Based in underlying theory, interviews and personal experiences, this model offers resources for utilization by preservice teachers toward developing effective lessons. the model describes how learners become empowered in preparing for interesting experiences which include traditional and nontraditional teaching strategies. This document promotes positive change and reform provides an enhancement to a teacher preparation curriculum and supplements curriculum theory and research. This model exemplifies practical experiences in teacher preparation and helps preservice teachers gain insight into realistic classroom settings.
