The Siglin Family History
註釋Heinrich Sieglin (1747-1810) married Rachel (Regina?) after Christmas 1772, and served with troops from Northampton County, Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War. Inscriptions on his grave are in German; earlier in the volume, there is discussion indicating the Siglin or Sieglin family originated in England, went to Holland as Pilgrims, and later immigrated to Pennsylvania speaking a Germanic language. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Siglin) and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.
