註釋Samuel Kingery was born in Virginia in 1788. He settled in Ohio where he married Catherine Spong. They were the parents of eleven children and later moved their family to Illinois. Information on their lives, their descendants, and historical background is given in this volume. Descendants now live in Illinois, Nebraska, Washington, Oregon, and elsewhere.
