Aerobic Nutrition
註釋Abstract: Basic facts on the essential role of oxygen in maintaining health and preventing disease and physical degeneracy are presented for the general public, followed by a collection of recipes that support the theme of aerobic nutrition. The cookbook incorporates the application of medical theories to cooking practices. Dietary alterations are intended to: increase the use of whole grains and other natural foods; reduce sodium intake, limit all dietary fats; increase poultry and fish consumption; and decrease use of refined sugar. Following the recommendations can cause an increase in mean intake of complex carbohydrates from 22 to 63%, while reducing sugar intake only 5%. Detailed discussions are presented on triglycerides, the body's oxygen delivery system, biocontamination, a controlled physical exercise plan, and vitamin and mineral sources. (wz).
