This report documents a determination of face liberated methane from 9 Eastlongwall in Lingan Collery. These values will provide an update to existingones and will enable better planning for the proposed Lingan Mine ExtensionProject. Air flows used in these calculations were measured using a tracergas technique, providing a better level of accuracy than has been obtainedpreviously. As a result, computed values for face liberated methane pertonne of coal cut vary considerably from existing figures.
