註釋The Lonely Road is the story of a 13 year old boy, a boy who was different from the other children of his age.He lived with his family, a loving mother, a caring father, and a younger brother. Life was certainly beautiful. He was home-schooled by his mother, which kept him away from the toils of the public school system and the poison of miscreant youth. He had ideas, ambitions, and dreams. The only thing he was confused about was his father's occupation. He just didn't know what his father did for a living. He didn't know anything about his father's occupation. Sometimes, he would spend his time in the woods just wondering what his father did, what his countless hours in the study room amounted to; a room he had only been in once. Though he didn't know much about his father, it still didn't matter. His father was still his hero. On the other hand, his mother was quite opposite of his father. The boy knew what she was, what she did in her time away from home. All in all, life was good. However, destiny had some other plans for the boy. One evening, when the boy returned home from the woods, he found his mother, his father, and his younger brother were shot dead. Will the boy ever be able to find out why was his family killed? Or even more important, who killed them?
