Driving Change in Special Education

The author begins with an overview of special education and the importance of decision-making, with regards to special education. Next, he provides a more in depth look at the special education support system, with reference to the four engines of change. He then, discusses gifted students and outside forces, and concludes with a chapter about the future for special education and social policy. Five students with different disabilities are highlighted throughout the book to illustrate specific legal issues and service delivery models.
