Jefferson's Children in Black and White
註釋Transcript from conversation conducted in Clark Hall, University of Virginia, February 11, 2002. This program was sponsored by the Office of African-American Affairs and the Women's Center, University of Virginia. Shannon Lanier, a black male descendant of Thomas Jefferson, and Jane Feldman, a professional photographer specializing in family photography, described their experiences compiling the book, Jefferson's children : the story of one American family. They discussed the recent research concerning Jefferson's family, the meetings of family members, and their interviews with Jefferson's descendants, and broadened their presentation to include definitions of a family and how this research relates to other multiracial or adoptive families.
