註釋Biography of James Balfour, born in 1830 in Scotland, he emigrated to Australia in 1852. He was a member of the legislative assembly and the legislative council. He died in 1913. Prominent laymen in the Presbyterian Church in Victoria, director of several companies and a newspaper. He was married to Frances Charlotte Henty on 19 April 1859 and they had eleven children.
