The results reported are based on 28 responding school districts. The information on prekindergarten programs which is presented concerns: (1) enrollment and budgets; (2) types of programs; (3) funding; (4) length of program day; (5) policies regarding teacher qualifications and adult-child ratio; (6) the future of prekindergarten programs in urban schools; and (7) program evaluations.
