註釋Joseph Parsons (ca.1617-1683) immigrated in 1635 from England to land that is now Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1646 he married Mary Bliss of Hartford, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Louisiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Quebec, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.
