Her memoirs begin in February 1942, when she was required to register as a Jew with the authorities; instead, she joined the partisans, and fought with them, living in the forests, until the liberation in April 1945. Presents a detailed description of her life as a partisan (her name was Katka), and the events leading up to the Slovak uprising, in which she participated. She now lives in Israel.
