註釋Consists primarily of letters from author Frank Thomas Bullen, 1857-1915, to Zephaniah Walter Pease. Other correspondents in the collection are Percy Sutherland Bullen (Frank Bullen's cousin and U.S. foreign correspondent with the London Daily Telegraph), and English literary agent A.P. Watt. The first letter in the file, however, is written to Pease by an apparent hometown friend living and working in London in 1891. Bullen's first letter to Pease is in 1899. The collection also contains an untitled manuscript signed by Frank T. Bullen regarding " ... the approaching centenary of the New Bedford Mercury ... "; a newspaper clipping titled "Cape Pigeons and Whalebirds: Superstitions Connected With Them By Sailors ..." written by Bullen; a magazine article about Bullen by Charles Middleton; a pamphlet "Fifty Years on The Morning Mercury: New Bedford, Mass: 1880-1930: A Reminiscence" by Pease; and three photographs
