First European Quality of Life Survey
註釋Having a job is a crucial factor in determining individual life satisfaction. This report explores the extent to which a good quality job can influence overall quality of life. The findings are based on the Foundation's First European Quality of Life Survey which was carried out across 28 countries: the EU27 and Turkey. The report analyses the relationship between working conditions, job satisfaction and work-life balance. It finds significant differences between countries and regions in terms of life satisfaction, based on different levels of unemployment and economic prosperity. Its conclusions point to the fact that job satisfaction can be increased by improving working conditions, making work more interesting, facilitating career progression, and reducing stress and dangerous working conditions.
