A well-known Hasidic rabbi who was murdered by the Nazis in 1945 he castigates his colleagues for rejecting all initiatives for redemption as represented by the Zionist enterprise. Based on an encyclopedic knowledge of the sources of Jewish law and thought Rabbi Teichthal argues for the legitimacy of such an involvement.
