註釋After his death and that of his wife, two of the sons of Theobald Fauss (1725-1765) immigrated from Germany to Baltimore in 1784, where Nicolas (1748-1825) and Theobald Fauss II (d.1828) changed their surname to Fouse. Descendants lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, Iowa and elsewhere.
