'Dear Stuart, ' Writes A. J.
註釋This collection of short, true stories was created as a tribute to Stuart McLean. They are stories originally intended for the Story Exchange portion of "The Vinyl CafZ," but when Stuart McLean passed away so unexpectedly, the stories were compiled in a way that makes them hybrid stories of the Story Exchange and Stuart McLean's own "Dave and Morley" stories. As Story Exchange Stories, they are short and they are true, which means they are also autobiographical. As Dave and Morley stories, they lean towards humour but aren't necessarily ALL humourous. They are also placed in the collection in a random order, which also imitates Stuart McLean's stories, because his short fiction tales were never presented in chronological order, but jumped around in time from one tale to the next. The stories include topics such as early school days, military days, parenthood days and such things as human life are made of. All but one of the stories are short, but all of them are united by the characters and the writer.
