This collection of field books documents Michael Nee's botanical collecting from 1997-2010. It consists of 21 small notebooks (18 cm height) that are part of a larger series of 109 notebooks (continued from Field notes Vols. 653-655). The notebooks in this box are numbered 89-109. During this time period Nee worked at the New York Botanical Garden, and the specimens covered in these notebooks were collected on NYBG expeditions. Most collections are from South America, mainly Bolivia, as well as some collections from the United States and a much smaller number from Central America, Australia, and Europe. Specimen number range in these notebooks is 47137-57103. Most entries have collection date and location, and description of plant and habitat. Nee's collection notebooks/accession logs that cover the same specimens are found in Field notes Vols. 828-835.
