Correspondence Between Holden and Mrs Epstein [Margaret Gilmour Dunlop, Wife of Jacob Epstein], Together with a Letter to Professor Schwabe by an Unidentified Sender, 22-26 June 1940
註釋Margaret Epstein asks Holden to help to find a safe place to keep her husband's work, which is in danger of being seized in lieu of debts, and also refers to the possibility of Epstein visiting the U.S.A. in connection with the publication of a book he has written. Holden suggests making an arrangement with a dealer which would clear the debt. The letter to Professor Schwabe refers to the provision of air-raid shelter for certain works of art, but there is no indication that this is actually connected with Margaret Epstein's request to Holden.
