註釋Experimental Data Base - List of Current Projects is a technical report on the design of the list of Current Projects (LCP), as well as on the initial - experimental establishment of computer supported data base on current projects in Guyana. The purpose for setting-up experimental data base of the Information System for Planning and Projects (ISPP) is: a)to demonstrate through "case study" as soon as possible actual usefulness of the ISPP data base, b)to provide selected basic data which could be used actually by planners, c)to train local personnel through "learning-by-doing approach, d) to obtain necessary experiences for the implementation of the complete ISPP. There are two reasons for selection of projects list as the area of the experimental data base: a)first, integrated and regulary updated list of all current projects is needed in order to improve planning and monitoring of projects, what is one of the top priority tasks of the country, b)second, the easy availability of the data on public projects, State Planning Secretariat is the main compiler of the list of governmental as well as public enterprises projects. At present, the following projects are included in the list: a) projects of central and regional government, as presented to the National Assembly in 1985, and some others from previous years, b)public enterprises on-going projects, c)private on-going projects of some of the most important private enterprises. The report is structured as follows: framework of the LCP, data base of the LCP, implementation of the experimental LCP, bibliography, appendices (basic data on projects, classifications, examples of retrieval, computer programme).
